Hello world !!!
Im back ... Back in black...
Week-end was wonderful..
Met up with a friend who had come from amchi Mumbai..
Too bad Bangalore - all the places close early by 11 pm,
so could not take here out anywhere - she was
telling about how you can party in Mumbai till the wee hours in the morning.
Bangalore night life has become dreary - no pubbing - no partying.
Best time to go out is in the day.
Watched the Arsenal vs. Chelsea game y'day.
Game was dull and a fluke goal by Didier Drogba
won it for Chelsea. C'mon Gunners fight. Im a big fan of Arsenal.
So what did you folks do at the week-end ???

Lankans today in the Final

Hello world !
Finally England won the 2nd test against teh Aussies.
It was a nail biting finish - won just by 2 runs.
Now the Ashes is truly exciting.
Next Test in Manchester starts from Friday,
I expect the Aussies to decimate the Poms in this one
b'cos this is a spinning track and Shane and Mcgill
will run through the English batting order who are
very suspect playing quality spin bowling.

India take on the Lankans today in the Final
and although the Lankans are favourites to
win this one - im sure India is going to surprise them here.

Big weekend coming up here in India
as Monday is a holiday for Independance day.
Hoping to go home for the week-end.

Hello World !!!
After losing the first test at Lords.
England are on top in the 2nd test on Day 1 at Edgbaston.
They have scored 407 - Australia are supposed to bat today.
Although you cant underestimate the Aussie batting,
I would like Australia to lose this test match
so there is some contest in this Ashes series -
but one man who can turn the match on its head is Warne.
Looking forward to enjoying the match this week-end.
It will be a interesting contest whatever be the outcome.
So folks have a nice week-end.

Hello World !

My parents have come to visit me.
They are setting up my new house.
I feel strange how we disagree on so many things,
blame it on generation gap - but you have to compromise.
Im enjoying the home food for starters.
After eating out for so long its such a relief
to get to eat from my Mom's hands.
She knows what I like to eat and everyday
I get to eat one of her specialites.
Nothing can beat one's Mom's cooking for sure.
They will be here for one week and
already Im feeling lonely thinking about how
I can manage when they go back to my native.
But thats life I guess - you gotta cope up.

Start of a new week

Hello world !

Its Monday ! Start of a new week, a new day
the first of the month - so soon 7 months of the year
2005 have zoomed past. Spent the weekend moving things
into my new rented house - bought a double bed,
a sofa, kitchen utensils, matresses, etc etc.
Could not sleep in the new house - being located right
on a busy highway - the vehicles sound is very disturbing.
Continous throughout the night. Gotta get used to it.
Have a nice week ahead folks !
