But the place is crowded like mad and I hate crowds.
And dont mention D parking n traffice blues.

Football

Hello world !!!
Well yesterday - went for the Football match.
Salgaonkar vs Tollygunge
Salgaonkar dominated throughout but too bad could'nt score.
On a lucky break Tollygunge scored in d first half.
Salgaonkars misery of missed chances continued in d 2nd half.
They somehow managed to finally score at the fag end.
It was extra time - but the deadlock continued as no team could score.
Tie - breaker. Salgaonkars first two shots were saved signalling their end
in the tournament. Too bad to see a good team go out.
My favourite Mahindra United lost y'sterday to Fransa.
Todays match-
Churchill Bros. Vs Vasco

He who drinks Australian - thinks Australian!

An Australian guy goes into a bar in the Greek Islands.
Jill, the Australian barmaid takes his order and notices his Australian accent.
Over the course of the night they talk quite a bit.
At the end of the night he asks her if she wants to have sex with him.
Although she is attracted to him she says no.
He then offers to pay her $200 for the deed.
Jill is travelling the world and because she is short of funds she agrees.
The next night the guy turns up again and after
showing her plenty of attention throughout the night
he asks if she will sleep with him again for $200.
She figures in for a penny in for a pound - and it was fantastic
the night before - so she agrees.
This goes on for 5 nights. On the sixth night the guy comes into the bar.
But this night he orders a beer and just goes and sits in the corner.
Jill is disappointed and thinks that maybe she should pay him more attention.
She goes over and sits next to him.
She asks him where he is from and he tells her Melbourne.
'So am I' she says.'What suburb in Melbourne?''Glen Iris' he says.
'That's amazing' she says, 'so am I - what street?''Cameo street' he says.
'This is unbelievable' she says, 'what number?'
He says 'Number 20' and she is astonished.'
You are not going to believe this' she says,
'I'm from number 22 and my parents still live there!''
I know' he says 'your father gave me $1,000 to give you!'
He who drinks Australian - thinks Australian!

The Moral of the Story

The teacher gave her fifth grade class an assignment:

Get their parents to tell them a story with a moral at the end of it.
The next day the kids came back and one by one began to tell their stories.
Ashley said, "My father's a farmer and we have a lot of egg laying hens.
One time we were taking our eggs to market in a basket on the front seat
of the car when we hit a big bump in the road and all the eggs
went Flying and broke and made a mess."
"What's the moral of the story?" asked the teacher.
"Don't put all your eggs in one basket!"
"Very good," said the teacher.
Next little Sarah raised her hand and said, "Our family are farmers too.
But we raise chickens for the meat market.
We had a dozeneggs one time, but when they hatched we only got ten live chicks,
and the moral to this story is, "don't count your chickens before they're hatched."
"That was a fine story Sarah.
Michael, do you have a story to share?"
"Yes, my daddy told me this story about my Aunt Karen.
Aunt Karen was a flight engineer in the Gulf War and her plane got hit.
She had to bail out over enemy territory and all she had was
a bottle of whiskey, a machine gun and a machete.
She drank the whiskey on the way down so it wouldn't break
and then she landed right in the middle of 100 enemy troops.
She killed seventy of them with the machine gun until she ran out of bullets.
Then she killed twenty more with the machete until the blade broke.
And then she killed the last ten with her bare hands."
"Good heavens," said the horrified teacher,
"what kind of moral did your daddy tell you from that horrible story?"
"Stay the fuck away from Aunt Karen when she's been drinking."

Nothing much happening in this journey called life...

Joke --->
-------------
An old woman is riding in an elevator in a very lavish New York City building, when a young and beautiful woman gets into the elevator, smelling of expensive perfume. She turns to the old woman and says arrogantly, "Romance" by Ralph Lauren, $150 an ounce!"

Then another young and beautiful woman gets on the elevator, and also very arrogantly turns to the old woman saying, "Channel No. 5, $200 an ounce."

About three floors later, the old woman has reached her destination and is about to get off the elevator. Before she leaves, she looks both beautiful women in the eye, farts, then says,..........................

"Broccoli...... 49 cents a pound."

Bush Vs Kerry

Hello world !!!
The whole world is watching eagerly...
Looks like Bush is getting re-elected.
I thought Kerry would get through...
but I thought Vajpayee would get re-elected too.
So elections always throw up surprises for me.
Anyways from India's point of view - its the
same old situation of American foreign policies towards us.
Whoever is the Prez. does not make no difference - as US policies
are the same towards India.

Word of the Day for Wednesday November 3, 2004

redolent \RED-uh-luhnt\, adjective:

2. Full of fragrance; odorous; smelling (usually used with
'of' or 'with').

The 142-foot-long sidewheeled steamer... ferried people
from place to place,... its two decks redolent with the
aroma of fresh grapes, peaches, and other fruit headed for
the rail spur at the Canandaigua pier, then on to markets
in New York
