November 1995-
I was doing my Engineering -
went to Goa for my Friends sister's wedding -
met Professor from my college who screwed me in the Internals and Practicals-
his name was SBK - used to call himself - Sabse Bada Khiladi - asshole.

5 years ago:November 2000 -
Moved to Bangalore - my first time in the city -
getting used to the lingo here - especially Tamil-
got a job as Trainee engineer in Small company
in Electronics city - big mistake it was.

1 year ago: November 2004-
Quit my friend's firm - after fighting with him -
went on a drinking spree with friends that night-
friend met with an accident - lucky to be still alive.
Thank you God.
Very next day got an offer for another job - joined it.

Yesterday:
Was stuck at work because of the rains -
went home late wet - had two slugs of DSP black -
called my cousin in Mumbai for her B'day.

Hello world !!!
Long time since I updated my blog.
Been caught up with work lately.
Hey Xmas is just a month away.
This year has waltzed past so soon.
Hoping to take leave for the Xmas week uptill new year.
Lotsa old friends visiting my hometown for Xmas,
will be good to catch up with them.
Strange to think how close we used to be at one time;
now Life has taken us so far away from each other at different places.
But as they say - "Nothing is parmanent... Change is emminent..."

Hello World !!!

Well yesterday's match b/w Bahrain and Trinidad
was ordinary to say the least. It did'nt live upto
my expectations. The football played was pathetic,
even school boys can play wit hmore imagination.
The biggest surprise result for me was The Aussies
beating Uruguay on penalties. Guus Hiddink their coach
is one lucky guy I think and will surely take them places in the World Cup
teh way he did with South Korea in the last World cup.
Nothing much happening nowadays.
Two of my Tarroti (means Sailor in Konkani) friends
have landed - looking forward to meeting them sometime soon.
But have to travel t o Bombay or Goa.
Bombay - Goa trips can leave a hole in thr pocket though.
Hoping to get them down to Bangalore.

World cup Play-off's

Hello world !!!

The Oktober fest last week-end was a damp squib.
I could'nt go as I was down with Viral fever.
Coming up today are World cup Play-off's.
The fate of 5 nations hangs in balance.
The remaining spots have been booked.

Spain vs Slovakia -
Spain take a 5-1 lead into this one.
Looks like Spain have made it to the WC.

Switzerland vs Turkey -
Although the Swiss lead 2-0 from home,
expect a tough explosive match -
the Turks are always dangerous @ home.

Czech Rep. vs Norway -
The Czechs carry a 1-0 advantage at home.
Expect them to wrap this one at home.

Bahrain vs Trinidad & Tobago
1-1 was the verdict in first leg.
Return leg should be exciting,
will be catching this one live tonite @ 9pm.
Both teams will be first time to qualify
and the smallest in terms of population to do so.

Austalia vs Uruguay
Mouth watering clash.
Uruguay take a 1-0 advantage to Australia.
The Aussies have not qualified since 1974.
They were knocked out by the same opposition
in the last world cup qualifiers too.
Can the yexact revenge ???

Oktoberfest in November

Hello world !!!
Well this weekend Kingfisher is organising an Oktoberfest.
Oktoberfest in November I should say - it got postponed i presume.
Venue - Palace grounds.
Lots of DJ music N' Rock bands playing every evening.
Rock bands in attendance -
Moksha
Galeez Gurus
Thermal and a quater.
Hoping to drink lotsa beer (obviously) !!!

1. I love sun, sand, sea, siesta n seafood thereby making Goa my favorite destination.

2. I only go shopping if i want to buy something - hate it when somebody goes to shop when they have no intention of buying.

3. Moody - very moody by nature.

4. i love to surf channels - cant stick to one channel - keep switching b/w movies - sports - wildlife programmes.

5. Mad about Football/ Hockey and Cricket. Played lots when i was a kid - now dont get teh time to play.

6. I am a very secretive person - dont like to discuss my personnal life with anybody.

7. Hate sweets - chocolates/ice-cream included.

8. Nothing like a coll beer to chill you out.

9. I like Ghazals/Hard Rock of teh 70's and 80's/Qawwalis and old hindi film music.

10. Dont watch movies in theaters.
