Hello world !!!
It rained for two hours in the morning today
and the roads were blocked with water.
I reached office two hours late completely drenched.
Bangalore roads get clogged every time it rains,
the drainage system is lousy and the the authorities are helpless.
The city has grown with the IT and ITES boom,
but there is no infrastructure to support the growth.
When I came here 5 years back - traffic was smooth,
but now its choked and if it rains dont talk.

Ganguly will be back

Hello world !!!

Saurav Ganguly was dropped as captain after he suffered an Elbow injury.
He has been an outstanding captain although he himself has'nt scored much of late.
Rahul Dravid has been made the Captain for the upcoming One-day series against
Sri Lanka and South Africa. I dont think Rahul can make a good captain
as he is too mild a guy - my personnel view.
Now Ganguly is not even selected in the team,
he will have to score in the Domestic season now to get back in the team
and I am sure he will get back.
We can have Saurav as the Test team Captain and Rahul for one dayers.
Saurav is an astute leader of men and India needs him for at least 2 years.

Super Series Test match

Hello world !!!
As expected the World XI was crushed by the Aussies
in the Super Series Test match as well.
Pity watching such a strong batting line-up fall to pieces -
Lara, Inzy, Kallis, Smith, Sehwag, Dravid, Flintoff - all came up noughts.
It seems the team was not inspired as they are when the yare playing for their
respective countries - what bloody bullshit.
What better inspiration to represent the World I ask ?
My friend has come from Goa - will tell U an interesting story about him
next time round.
It rained cats n dogs y'day - was totally drenched by the time I reached home.
Bangalore roads firstly cant handle the traffic and if it rains
the drains cant handle the waterflow and you get waterclogged roads
making it undrivable - got stuck for two hours in the rains. Pathetic.
Hope it does'nt rain today - but can already see black clouds out of the window.

World XI vs. Australia

Hello world !!!

Watched the World XI vs. Australia 3rd match on Sunday,
a big letdown - the World XI was again streamrolled.
They lost all the 3 matches. Just goes to shows who the Champs are
and proves that too many cooks spoil the broth.
So many star players - but they could not gel as a team...
aka.. Real Madrid withe all the stars but they could not win the league last season.
The Test match between World XI vs. Australia starts on Friday.
Hopefully the World XI will put up a better performance.

Goa -365 days on a holiday

Had a long week-end !
Went to Goa for the week-end - took Monday Off.
It was nice to be in sunny Goa once again -
sun, sand , sea, seista.... Goa -365 days on a holiday.
