Big B dialogue delivery is like nothing seen on the Indian screen.
His thick voice complimented the dialogues perfectly.
Another favourite dialogue in Sholay ->

Although Big B continues to act in movies now,
I've not seen any since i last saw him in "Hum".
I still got a hero's image about him and cant think of seeing
him an any other role whatsoever. Guess Im still stuck back in time.

All his old movies be it Kaalia, Zanjeer, Coolie, Abhimaan, Bombay to Goa,
Mr. Natwarlal, Don, Kala Phattar, Dostana, Shakti, Hera Pheri, Sholay
Laawaris, Sharaabi, Namak Halal, Gambler, Agneepath are classics.
I never get tired of seeing them anytime.

Champions league finals y'day night.
Liverpool vs. AC Milan,
Istanbul, Turkey.

Liverpool were trailing 3-0 at half time
and came back to draw level 3-3 in the second half.
Extra time still tied.
Penalties Liverpool won.
They are winning after a gap of 21 years.

Nothing to blog about.
Pretty dull day.
Its been thunderstorm and lightning for the last two evenings.
Pretty much brought the temperatures down.
Dunno if its going to rain again today ?
Got stuck for two hours in the rain.
Guess gotta buy a new jacket for the monsoons.
I used to earn 10k and fall short for money,
now i get double the amount but still fall short.
Cant understand the logic. Guess Im a compulsive spendthrift.
Gotta control my expenditure.

Barbeque

Hello world !!!
Another week-end ...
Me remember one our seniors saying this-"Another Saturday night"
when we went to his house for a party on Saturdays when I was a teenager.
There used to be lots of fun, games, cards, jokes, sing song sections
apart from drinks and cooking food mostly Barbeques in summers.
But nowadays the young kids only want to drink and fight,
they dont enjoy the drink; the drink enjoys them most of the time.
Had been for a Barbeque party y'day at my friend Sam's place.
There was Mutton chops, Fish and Beef.
I landed there from office pretty late at 10 pm
and staright away given the task to handle the Barbeque.
Uff just did'nt get time to taste any meat myself,
serving all the hungry souls. But it was nice after a long time.
So what are your plans for the weekend folks ???

Just blog hopping y'day on some of my favorite blogs
where i came across a Birthday predictor on GS's blog.
Quite interesting. Although i dont believe in this mostly,
but the result it threw up was quite descriptive of my character.

Its become really hot this summer in Bangalore.

Im back ... after being away for five days.
Seems like a long time ... I missed blogging ...
Had a wonderful little vacation...
Attended a wedding, a christening ...
met lots of old friends... Feels good.
Sitting by the riverside with beer, fish n chips
idling away doing nothing just gazing at the stars in the sky,
the coconut trees, fisherfolk in the passing boats - nothing like it.
Goa is truly relaxing. It puts your mind to rest from
all the hustle bustle in life. I wanted to stay longer,
but guess I for one never get tired of Goa.
Goa - sun, sand, sea and seista.
Goa - 365 days on a holiday !!!

Marriages. Its the marriage season in India.
Marriage season partly because its summer vactions for children.
Lots of marriages in all religions and castes.
My friend is getting married in Goa.
Got the invite y'day. Will have to attend his wedding coz he was quite a close pal.
Usually I'm not keen to attend marraiges and functions,
Same time I can catch up with another friend whom I've not met for some years.

Bombay now called Mumbai...
This city has left an undeniable mark in my life.
Right from childhood I used to visit this city
and everytime get fascinated by the crowds,
the local train, the vada pav, double decker buses,
Bollywood, Cross maidan, Azad maidan, the suburbs, the slums,
India Gate, Mount Mary, Siddhi vinayak, Haji ali ....
Bombay has got so many colors,
the city just does not seem to stop, time just flies.
Everyday it accomodate more and more people.

They say -
"If a man learns t olive in Mumbai,
he can live anywhere in this planet."

Another -
"A man eager to work never starves in Mumbai"

Its been almost 3 years since I've been to Mumbai.

Im really lost

I've got a friend who used to always call me or vice -versa.
But last week, we had some misunderstanding;
from then on she is not ready to speak to me at all.
I tried calling her and explaining but to no avail.
She has asked me not to call her from now on.
Im really lost. Without any fault,
she is behaving as if I've commited a crime.

Go karting !!!

Hello world !!!
Went Go karting last week.
My first time.
It was really cool. But my kart
was in real bad shape, the accelerator pedal
would not stop accelerating even after i left it.
Somehow I managed to control with the brakes.
Hope to again try my hand it this week-end.
Quite addictive sport. Good to see small kids
driving so fast on the circuit. Guess Narain Karthikeyan's
entry into F1 has fired up lots of kids to take up this sport.
Y'day watched Arsenal vs. Liverpool.
Arsenal played well and won quite convincingly 3-1.
Although Arsenal have lost the premiership tilte this year,
their young players show lots of promise.
Im quite impressed with Cesc Fabregas and Van Persie.
These two youngsters are really great.
I was quite disappointed with Liverpool.
They continue their poor run in the premiership.
Hope they play well in the Champions leg finals in Istanbul.

Had a relaxing week-end.
Caught up with much needed sleep.
Saturday went to a pub to watch some EPL.
Southhampton vs. Norwich City
Bot hare fighting for relegation.
It was a see-saw game tied at 3-3 till the 80the minute,
until Camara for Southhampton came with a winner.
All four teams are i.e Southampton, norwich city, Crystal palace
and West Bromwich Albion contnue to fight the relegation battle.
Chelsea won 2-0 against Bolton Wanderers to claim
the EPL title after a gap of 50 years.
Arsenal and Man. U continue to fight for 2nd place.
It would have been so good and exciting if all three or 4-5 teams
would have fought for the title.
Tuesday Liverpool take on Chelsea in the Champions league
semi-final. First semis being 0-0, this is one game
Liverpool have to win after losing 3 times
to Chelsea this season already. C'mon Liverpool U can do it.
Sunday went to my friends place for lunch.
Had lovely fish curry rice with crabs and squids fry.
Hmmm delicious.
