: o : Fury of the Rains : o :

Hello World !
The rains have been severe on the Konkan belt
of India for the last 3 days. Bombay the business center
of India is severely affected - with all things coming to
a grinding halt. There is flooding all over the city.
This Tuesday Bombay received the highest rainfall
ever fallen in the whole of India.
Most people were stranded in their offices or roads
in buses, cars or trains as all roads and rail tracks
and airport were flooded. Only now rains have receded
and people have reached their homes.
With more rains expected people have been advised to
stay back at home. The fur yof nature can be devastating indeed.
See some of the pictures below.
Another week-end coming up.
Have Fun :) Cheers !

hmm the flood in Mumbai is looked very bad ... :( In Indonesia especially in Jakarta, if there is rain for the whole day, it will flood in some parts as well. Last time, I was stuck on the road for 7 hours because of flood. This is really crazy ....

I hope, this fury of monsoon calms down in western india soon. Gosh, I heard stories of people being trapped for 2 days at work! hope, everything's coming to normalcy now.
